Historic Sandstock Bricks rescued from Cudal Hotel

38,000 historic, sandstock bricks were rescued from the Royal Hotel, Cudal.

Built in the early 1900s, the historic Hotel had just celebrated its 100th anniversary when it was destroyed by fire in May, 2015. Brick Rescue worked with the demolisher to save the original, historic, sandstock bricks and preserve them for re-use instead of being crushed for road base.

The Cudal sandstocks are in beautiful warm tones. Brick Rescue’s unique, automated cleaning process will give these lovely old beauties back their sparkle and provide a happy customer with an irreplaceable piece of Australian history that will be a talking point for another 100 years. These bricks will be spectacular in their new home.
