Its location, scale and proportions were carefully considered to complement the architecture of the barn and create a natural gathering place within the space. Collectors in Australia,particularly in the Newcastle area, often seek out for this brick. We found those in between the mountains of the bricks. Credit to @chinnockbuilding Our clients at W house wanted to bring the facade back to life as she was quite dated. Which included changing the look of the old round columns. And adding recycled brickwork/colorbond. As we were restricted with with the existing setback on the front building, a new wall in front of the garage wasn’t an option. We had to have the wizards @ggb_masonrycontractors cut all the brick work in half and glue to the substrate and mud up joints afterwards. Mission of a job but the boys nailed it!! @chinnockbuilding @conceptsbygavinhepper @timshawphotography @ggb_masonrycontractors @thebrickpit @kiamaglass @hanlonwindows @architecturalfeatureproducts
